9 Restaurant Chains With the Best Labor Day Deals

People are getting ready for barbecues, parades, and pool parties since Labor Day is coming up too soon. That is, a lot of hot dogs, hamburgers, and sausages are being cooked.

Not everyone is having a big party over the three-day weekend, though. Some people would rather not make anything at all. Food and drink deals are available at a number of restaurant companies, so you can enjoy the holiday without having to cook.

There are chains that are discounting whole meals and chains that are only discounting certain menu items. Of all the restaurants open on Labor Day, these nine offer some of the best deals. They range from sit-down restaurants to fast food chains.

1. Chili’s

Want a marg? On Labor Day, Chili’s will be open and have its regular Monday happy hour deal from 3 p.m. until it closes. It’s only $6 for the Sunrise Dream Marg, which is also Chili’s September Margarita of the Month. Lunazul Reposado tequila, triple sec, pineapple juice, sweet & sour, and grenadine make up this drink.

The new Don Julio Marg costs $12. Don Julio Blanco tequila, fresh sour, and an orange wedge are used to make this. This is the Tequila Trifecta Margarita from Chili’s. It costs $7 and has three shots of tequila in one.

For $3, you can get Bud Light, Miller Lite, or Coors Lite. For $4, you can get Modelo Ultra or Michelob Ultra, and for $5, you can get house wines.

2. KFC

This weekend, KFC is having some deals that you can use on Labor Day if you’re hungry for comfort food. There is a 40-Piece Saucy Nuggets Party Pack for $19.99 that can be used to feed a lot of people. You can choose from four different types of Saucy Nuggets. The new ones are Honey Garlic, Chipotle Ranch, and Mango Habanero. The old ones, Korean BBQ and Honey BBQ, are also back.

If you order a chicken burger on KFC’s website or app, you can get it for half price. The Classic, Spicy, and Saucy chicken burgers are all part of this deal.

It’s 40% off the 12-piece buckets of chicken when you buy online or through the mobile app if you’d rather just have a bucket of chicken. You can choose between KFC’s all-dark meat Drum & Thigh Bucket, which has six drums and six thighs, or their Variety Bucket, which has three drums, three thighs, three breasts, and three wings.

Along with these deals, KFC will start delivering online and mobile orders for free every Thursday, September 5.

3. Popeye’s

What is stronger than pizza? Of course there’s free food! Reward members who order between August 30 and September 2 will get a free medium pizza with one topping. Papa Johns is also giving away free pizza to people who buy at least $20 worth of food from September 3 to September 16.

4. Pizza by Marco

Marc’s Pizza is having a few different deals for Labor Day (September 2) and National Cheese Pizza Day (September 5). Pizza lovers can get the chain’s new limited-time item, the large Margherita Magnifico, for only $10.99 when they check out with the code MARGMAG.

Need even more food? You can choose the Mega Meal Deal, which comes with a big pizza with one filling, Cheezybread, and freshly baked Cinnasquares. It costs $19.99 if you use the code MEGAMEAL when you check out.

5. Mountain Mike’s

The pizza deals at Mountain Mike’s keep going. Until September 2, use the code LBRDAY24 at checkout to get 15% off any pizza at the local pizza chain. Mountain Mike’s is enjoying National Cheese Pizza Day on September 5 by giving loyalty members $3 off any cheese pizza (except mini pies). This is in addition to Labor Day.

6. Noodles & Company

Over the three-day weekend, here’s a different kind of deal to give to someone you care about. It’s now possible to get a new Care Bears Share Menu at Noodles & Company.

This menu is only available until September 9, which is Care Bears Share Your Care Day. There are two meal options on this limited-time menu.

There’s the Care Bears Besties Meal, which comes with a big entrée, a small entrée, and a Cheer Crispy, which is like a Rice Krispies treat but made with magic charm cereal. It costs $14.95 for this meal.

The second choice costs $8.95 and is called the Share Your Care Junior Meal. This comes with a small main dish, a kid’s drink, and a Care Bears tiny plush that can be collected while stocks last.

7. The STK Steakhouse

If you want to eat at a fancier restaurant with tasty meals like steak and crab, teachers and first responders can get 50% off their food at STK from August 30 to September 2. This deal is only for people who want to eat in, and it doesn’t include booze. To get this discount, the guest must show a current first responder or school ID.

8. Kona Grill

From August 30 to September 2, both first responders and teachers can get 50% off at Kona Grill, just like they can at STK. This dine-in deal doesn’t include booze, and guests must show proof that they have a job.

9. Morton’s Steak House

From August 29 to September 5, Morton’s is offering a three-course prix fixe meal for $69 per person. Starters include Caesar salad and Baked Five Onion Soup. For the main course, you can choose a 16-ounce bone-in Kansas City strip with black truffle butter or blue cheese butter as an add-on.

If you want something sweet to end the meal, Morton’s has crème brûlée, key lime pie, the legendary hot chocolate cake, or apple pie turned upside down. There is a set price on this table, but some things will cost more.
