Fast-Growing Poke Bowl Chain Is Opening 7 New Restaurants—Here’s Where

People in Boston who like poke food will be happy! Pokeworks, a fast and relaxed poke restaurant, is opening seven new locations in Boston. This will make Pokeworks even more popular, since it is already growing quickly with five successful locations in Boston.

A Snack of Hawaii on the Mainland

Pokeworks was established in 2015 in Midtown Manhattan by a group of friends who were captivated by the flavors of Hawaii during their travels. Their objective was to introduce the island’s fresh, vibrant flavors to the mainland, which led to the establishment of Pokeworks.

The Sushi Burrito, a substantial maki roll loaded with poke, vegetables, and rice, is one of the chain’s most popular offerings. It is enveloped in flexible nori. The chain’s rapid expansion in New York City and beyond was facilitated by the rapid popularity of this distinctive offering during luncheon.

Success on a National and International Scale

Pokeworks currently maintains 67 locations in 20 states, including Arizona, Wisconsin, Texas, and Connecticut. The brand has also expanded internationally, with outposts in Canada and Taiwan.

Franchises in Mexico are scheduled to commence operations in the near future, further accelerating the expansion. Pokeworks’ dedication to disseminating the fresh, healthy, and customizable poke experience to a global audience is underscored by this global reach.

A Team with a Mission

Lelin Kandel, Pokeworks’ inaugural employee, will oversee the Boston expansion. Kandel began his tenure as a general manager and progressed to senior operations manager.

In this new venture, Kandel will be accompanied by tech entrepreneurs Nijjwol Lamsal and Roshan Gauchan, as well as current franchisee Rong Cong.

“I’ve had an incredible experience working with the Pokeworks brand and have witnessed firsthand their commitment to supporting franchisees and ensuring their individual success,” according to Kandel.

“I am enthusiastic about commencing my new business venture as a franchisee with the brand. I am confident that the meticulous systems and operations that have been established will guarantee the smoothest possible expansion efforts for Cong, Lamsal, Gauchan, and myself.”

I am delighted to be a part of the Pokeworks expansion into new communities throughout the city, as I am a native of Boston and have witnessed the enthusiastic reception the current locations have received.

Lamsal concurred with Kandel’s enthusiasm, asserting, “Observing Pokeworks’ meteoric ascent from its humble beginnings to its present status as a dominant brand is truly inspiring.”

It is an honor to be a part of their development voyage, and we are eager to introduce their delectable menu to hungry patrons in the region.

What is the menu?

Pokeworks is well-known for using sustainable seafood when possible, and offers a variety of catering, delivery, and pickup choices on its menu. Customers can choose from ready-made poke bowls, create their own bowls, or pick sushi burritos or poke salads on top of veggies.

The Hawaiian Ahi bowl is a distinctive cuisine that is served over white rice. It includes ahi tuna, cucumber, sliced onion, hijiki seaweed, edamame, Pokeworks Classic sauce, chili flakes, seaweed salad, green onion, sesame seeds, and a seasonal crunch.

For those who prefer prepared proteins, there are lobster, poultry, or shrimp available. Additionally, the raw tuna or salmon can be torched for a slightly golden sear.

Additionally, Pokeworks provides seasonal specials, including pressed sushi and a new plant-based tuna dish. Shelled edamame, spam musubi, miso broth, and seaweed salad comprise the side dishes.

House special lemonades, iced teas, milk teas, and imported Hawaiian juice beverages are available to complement these dishes. The Pokeworks app offers a chance for loyal customers to accumulate rewards for future purchases.

Anticipating the Expansion

It is evident that Pokeworks’ fresh and flavorful offerings will be more accessible to the city’s poke enthusiasts, despite the fact that the specific locations for the new Boston openings have not been disclosed.

The brand’s mission to offer healthful, customizable, and delectable food options to a broader audience is in alignment with the expansion, which is designed to meet the increasing demand for sustainable and fresh culinary experiences.

Pokeworks’ dedication to quality and customer fulfillment remains unwavering as the company expands, guaranteeing that each new location provides the same vibrant, flavorful, and nutritious poke bowls that have established the chain as a beloved brand throughout the United States and beyond.

With these new establishments, Boston is poised to become an even more significant destination for poke enthusiasts. Be on the lookout for the new Pokeworks locations and prepare to indulge in even more of the island-inspired delicacies that have captivated the hearts (and taste senses) of so many.
