Subway is waving north of the border with a new, exciting menu that fans will surely enjoy. Because Subway is known for having the same sandwiches, wraps, and salads, it’s a big deal when it does make a significant change.
The fast food giant has not only shown off one or two new items this time but a whopping ten new things! But there’s a catch. These tasty new items are only available in Canadian stores, which is a shame for Subway fans in the U.S. Yet, we can still see more of what our Canadian friends enjoy.
Starting September 3, Subway restaurants in Canada have added several new things to their menus to suit various tastes and budgets. Some new items on the menu are a fresh side dish, a variety of breakfast sandwiches on ciabatta bread, and a fun new section called “Snackwiches.”
These small sandwiches are great for people who need a quick bite to keep them from getting hungry in the middle of the day. These new things are priced reasonably, so anyone looking for a tasty meal that won’t break the bank can get them.
Lisa Mazurkewich, in charge of marketing at Subway Canada, was excited about the new items. “People in Canada want value without giving up taste,” she said. “That’s why we’re so excited about our new Breakfast and Ciabatta Snackwich.”
As of now, all of the new Breakfast Sandwiches and Snackwiches cost $5 or less. This means Canadians can enjoy freshly made meals at any time of the day for a great price.
Take a look at the meal menu first. The new breakfast sandwiches from Subway are served on ciabatta bread and come in five wonderful base tastes.
You can add your favorite sauces and vegetables to any sandwich, making your food exactly how you like it. This is what you can do:
Not only do these sandwiches taste great, but they’re also cheap, starting at just $3. These breakfast sandwiches are a great way to start the day, whether you’re hurrying to work or taking it easy.
Along with breakfast sandwiches, Subway has added something new called “Snackwiches.” When you need something more substantial than a snack but don’t want a full meal, these snack-sized sandwiches are just what you need. These tasty Snackwiches are served on ciabatta bread and come in four tasty varieties:
These Snackwiches start at only $4, so anyone who wants to satisfy their hunger without spending much money can do so.
Potato Rings, Subway’s newest side dish, is the last of the new menu items. These hash browns aren’t like most. There is something fun about how these crispy potato bites are shaped.
They are round instead of square. Potato rings are a light and cheap addition to your meal. They have only 150 calories and are recommended to cost $2.
For now, these cool new things are only available in Canada. However, Subway hasn’t forgotten about its fans in the United States.
To keep things interesting in the United States, Subway just started a deal where you can get a footlong burger for only $6.99 for a short time.
This deal includes personalized subs and burgers from the “Subway Series,” made by chefs. If you’re in the U.S. and want a great deal, now is the time to take advantage of the offer, which lasts until September 8.
Just enter the code “699FL” to get the deal when you order through the Subway website or app.
These ten new food items are only available in Canada for now, but there is always hope that they will come to the U.S. So, until then, people who love Subway can dream about these tasty new meals and maybe even make plans to go across the border to order them.
